Roof Replacement

Two figures, never one
Serving Sewell, Wenonah, Pitman and Woodbury Heights as well as the township: replacement, repairs, leaks, storm damage, siding and gutters, each visit ending in the cost of mending it and the cost of replacing it.
Ask for both figures — (856) 830-6269
A look at the whole roof, photographs of anything that matters, and two written figures before we leave.
The work
Whatever the job turns out to be, the order never changes: somebody goes up and looks, then the figures go in writing, then anything starts.

Everything stripped to the deck and rebuilt, with the number fixed before the first shingle moves.

The failed detail put right, while the covering that is still working is left where it is.

The drip shows up in one room and starts somewhere else. Finding which comes first.

Evidence gathered slope by slope while it is fresh, in the shape an adjuster expects.

Sixty minutes up there and a plain-language verdict on what you actually own.

Cladding, trim, and the dormer-to-slope joints that cause most of the inside damage.

Fall, fixings and outlets sorted, so rainwater ends up on the lawn and not in the brickwork.
Why ring us
Four things that hold on every job in the township, from one lifted shingle to a full tear-off.
The mend and the replacement, side by side on the same sheet. Nobody gets talked up a tier because only one figure was ever offered.
We go up, photograph what is there and leave the figures with you. There is no visit fee folded into the estimate afterwards.
If the boards under the old covering are worse than they looked, we stop, show you, and agree the difference before a saw comes out.
The names on the estimate are the names on the roof. Nothing changes hands to an outfit you have never met once a deposit clears.
How it runs
Start with whatever you noticed: a damp patch upstairs, grit washing out of a downspout, a shingle lying in the border.
An hour or so on the roof and in the loft where we can get there, with a camera, working through covering, metalwork and boards.
What mending it costs and what replacing it costs, itemised, with the scope behind each one.
Debris into the container as it comes off, gutters cleared out at the end, and a magnet run over the lawn before anybody drives away.
Where we go
A tight patch on purpose. Short drives mean a free visit happens in days rather than a fortnight.
One visit. Two numbers. Nothing owed either way — not for the climb and not for the writing.

Because a repair figure on its own tells you nothing about whether the repair is worth doing. Seen next to the replacement cost, the decision usually makes itself, and often it makes itself in favour of the smaller job.
Yes, and nothing gets quietly recovered through the estimate later. Looking at roofs that turn out to be fine is simply part of the job.
That is what they are written down for. Sit on them, show them to somebody else, ring three other roofers. A number that only works if you decide on the spot was never a good number.
How steep it is, how awkward the access, how much is coming off, what the boards are like underneath, how many valleys and penetrations there are, and which covering you pick. Floor area on its own explains very little.
We stop and you look at the boards with us before anything is cut out. The extra is agreed out loud, in daylight, not discovered on an invoice.
Most houses around here come off and go back on inside two days once material is on site. A cut-up roof or bad decking adds one. Weather moves dates, and you hear about that the night before.
Where the township wants one, we file it. It belongs to the job rather than to you.
Our own crew, the same people who went up to price it. Nothing gets passed to a subcontractor once the paperwork is signed.
Who you are ringing
We stay inside the township and the towns touching it, so the work we did two summers ago is on the route to the shops. That is really why both numbers go on the sheet — around here, selling somebody a roof they did not need gets found out.

Next step
Say what you noticed and we will handle the rest of the looking. The climb is free, the writing is free, and the decision stays yours.
